Facebook Is Still King Of Social Media

The photo below is from 1 of my multiple fan pages on facebook. As you can see the reach goes higher and higher.

Here you will find one of my FB posts also on instagram to bring in more traffic.

Now I can tell you this and tell you as a fact. BY FAR and away Facebook is the most profitable network for my clients and for my company.

I have heard the whole gplus is taking over and Facebook is sinking speech. Anyone that says that doesn't know much about social media and doing business.

As you see below that 1 single offer was claimed over 225 times by people I targeted and with a 28% conversion ratio....LIFE IS GOOD.

Post by Offers.

Oh and by the way I have over 300,000 gplus followers myself and hold the largest circle share in the world record so I know all about gplus and it certainly has benefits.

I have made a name for myself online by thinking outside the box.......way outside. That is how I was able to turn this into a very profitable career in 8 months time.

What I have done is created over 40 FB Fanpages of my own. I have spend thousands of dollars building those pages up with the audience I wanted.

I then also pin those offers and post them on instagram on top of sharing them on all 30 pages.

Yet another 41 claims and incredible reach you see by the time I am done sharin to my over 30 pges/groups and pinterest I will usually get an organic reach of 7 to 15,000

As you can see the stats keep going up up and away this is one of my middle of the road pages not bad when you have 30 to maintain.

The industry is irrelevant as long as you know how to make the offer correctly and at what time.

The headline and photo are critical as are the time you reshare to the other pages. It is about a 4 hour project each offer if you do it right.

Post by Offers.

So look FB is not dead infact it is selling more for me today then anything i have ever been a part of and that is saying a lot. SO just because you see or hear that something else may be better tht is just an opinion. I love all social media but I really love the social media that makes me money at the same time.

Coupons are highly effective for engaging with your target audience and increasing your business’s ROI.
Another marketing tool that is highly effective for engaging with your target audience is Facebook.
No further explanation is needed to see the value in using Facebook Offers, coupons that you can create and promote to your Facebook fans and their friends.

Facebook Offers can benefit your online marketing efforts both on and off Facebook.  Posting an offer on your business’s Facebook page can lead to engagement with your fans and fans’ friends on Facebook, as well as site traffic and sales off Facebook.

Post by Jmhhacker Academy.

No matter how well you’ve planned and developed your Facebook Offer, it won’t be used unless you’ve taken the proper steps to promote it.
Publishing follow up posts on your Facebook page announcing the offer and reminding fans of its expiration date will continue to keep it in the newsfeeds of your followers.!

Post by Jmhhacker Academy.

However, your promotion options for driving customers to your Facebook Offer aren't limited to Facebook.
Here are a few ideas of additional ways to promote your Facebook Offers.

Post by Justin Matthew.

  • Send an email blast of your offer with an appealing image, description and link that connects to the offer on your Facebook page.  Remind recipients that they should “Like” your Facebook page, too

Pin the photo using the exact FB Offer link. Embed the FB Post in a blog article like I did here even tweet post on gplus or use instagram if you aren't doing ALL of these things you are WY behind before you turn on the lights...

Use these tips and promotion ideas to start running your own Facebook Offers.  You’ll gain new Facebook fans from the offer shares and buzz and your existing Facebook fans will thank you for the awesome discounts!

If you have not yet run a Facebook Offer, what’s holding you back?  If you have run Facebook Offers, which have been the most successful?  Do you have any favorite methods for promoting the offers that you run?  We look forward to your feedback!

How many of you have GREAT success with FB offers? If not, why?

Promoted Pins On Pinterest

                Promoted Pins On Pinterest

Pinterest has started to include the use of promoted pins.

Promoted pins will look more or less the same in fact you might not even realize you are looking at one. There will be a small "Promoted Pin"  at the bottom, under the photo and description.

No news I could find on how long the free promoted pins testing  will last, I know they will have this running in time for the holidays for obvious reasons.

The promoted pins will appear first in search results and category feeds, on both the web and in mobile apps giving a HUGE advantage to those who use the feature.

As you already know, early adopters always make the most money when the new features come.

These promoted pins will work in a fashion similar to Facebook's promoted posts with one big glaring difference that I can see.....

Most users or at least a lot on Pinterest are BUYERS!! What do you think of this new feature? Will you use it for your company or clients?

Change the Way You Advertise

 Change the Way You Advertise

A true understanding of your niche means a true understanding of what advertising methods work best and knowing precisely where to place your ads to get the most out of them.

You won’t see a good marketer place a banner ad for pizza on a site that promotes weight loss, right? Not unless they like losing money!

One of the most effective forms of advertising is not only free, but can also have great SEO benefits?   I’m not talking about banner ads or expensive radio commercials.

What do you see on a daily basis? What do you see each time you log onto Facebook or Pinterest? What are the most shared items on the Internet?

Memes / eCards!
Memes and eCards are EXTREMELY effective in creating backlinks to your site through a natural sharing process. They’re simple. They’re free. They’re fast. And they work.

1)      Follow the familiar template of the meme or eCard.
2)      Include your site name if appropriate. Brand recognition is key! You can even include the URL or company logo.
3)      Keep your message classy. Some memes and eCards push the limits of political correctness. They can hurt your image just as easily as they can help it.
4)      Keep your message consistent. Make it about what you do as a company or how you can help the individual. Be creative and relevant.
5)      Put the pictures on your site and make them easy to share. That’s a big one!
6)      Create a humor board(s) on Pinterest or albums on other networks. Pin your images with your link and your description (more on good description etiquette in a later article).
7)      Name your picture appropriately so that it’s keyword searchable. Ex) Futurama-Fry-Monopolize-Social-Media.jpg
8)      Don’t forget about placing them on Facebook, Google +, Twitter, Flicker, Instagram etc.

Making your own eCard is a good alternative since anyone can freely use a small colored rectangle with a picture and a caption. Below are some example memes we put together to give you a better idea.

Empire Avenue & Monopolize Social Media

Avenue Lives… On Many Social Levels

Active members of the Empire Avenue community might have noticed that very suddenly we have a Pinterest channel, an official Tumblr channel, a re-introduced Instagram channel and maybe some more activity on our Facebook Page… what’s going on you might ask!

As you know, Empire Avenue is filled with some of the most amazing and engaged Social Media members. Many in our community help companies and individuals with their Social Media presence. We’ve long realized that our small team cannot manage all our presences while giving you an experience on Empire Avenue. Since we often extol the virtues of using Empire Avenue as a marketplace with individuals and companies that can help you realize the value of your networks, we decided to swallow our own medicine.

This month, we’ve turned to the team at Monopolize Social Media (MSM) to help expand and manage our presence in many of our Social Media channels. So stay tuned folks, we’re going to have fun.

Who’s MSM you might ask, here’s a short blurb!

“Monopolize Social Media (MSM) delivers services that are tough to match by any other source which all started with an idea in mind to not only penetrate social networks but take over and drive traffic in force while building a brand for clients. Founded by Justin Matthew and Chris Cota (ATLCOMPUTERDUDE) the team has achieved top honours on every social network including Empire Avenue!

Justin has been a leader in innovation and pioneer in social media on nearly every network and is well known as (JMHHACKER) from his YouTube days as business manager of top channel HouseHoldHacker. Everything you know about marketing, advertising, and social media has now evolved! Justin Matthew, Chris Cota, Adam Houlahan, Barbara Fariña, Daniel Stock, Dan Tulloh, Karen Michelle and Brittany Cruz are the team that makes it all happen! MSM Team

We’re excited to have MSM work with us on this endeavour. We hope to showcase many of our great Empire Avenue Community members, their work and their companies in the upcoming weeks and months. Not only might we promote your services, create mentorship opportunities for you but, as with MSM, use your services to help us grow Empire Avenue’s presence as we continue on our path towards accomplishing our mission

4 Keys to a Good Pinterest Description

Pinterest is growing at an exponential rate. If you don’t have an account already, hopefully this article will convince you to jump onboard because it’s more than just a bandwagon. The virality of this network is unlike any other in the history of social networking and you’ll see why I favor Pinterest over other networks in just a few moments.

Everyone has a different approach to pinning their personal work, but if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that your description on every pin is vital. If you don’t get it right, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to attract attention to your pins or even your website. So today’s focus will be on creating the right descriptions to get your pins noticed. Then I’ll show you exactly how powerful these tips can be!

A good pin description should contain 4 key elements:

-  It should stand out visually
-  It should be 100% relevant to the pin
-  It should have a call to action
-  It should be searchable
At this point you may be asking yourself how black text will accentuate your pin on a site that promotes colorful, visually stimulating imagery. Simple. In the same way that colors stand out on black and white, bold and black will stand out in a sea of colors. If you consider the typical description for a pin, it’s usually nothing more than a 5-10 word sentence with nothing compelling about it. So we need a way to counteract this and draw people’s attention to your pins. Since there’s no way to change your font type, the easiest way to add an element of bold is through the use of symbols. I prefer to grab them from this site:

Facebook Symbols: http://fsymbols.com/

It’s easy to go overboard with these—don’t. I would never use more than a couple, although I usually always stick to one since 500 characters worth of bold-faced smileys is a fantastic way to annoy your followers. Try to resist the urge!
Next, make sure your description is 100% relevant. There are some different schools of thought out there as to how much real estate you should be using in your descriptions. In fact, most people will recommend you completely fill all available space with a keyword stuffed caption. I prefer the opposite approach. I’ve found that people visit sites like Pinterest to see images, not read epic narratives. Keep it short and sweet with a couple solid keywords. Too many keywords without any structure can sound robotic. The interactions your pin receives will weigh more heavily on how your content ranks in searches than the number of keywords you include in a caption.

Third, we need a call to action. As part of your description, you should be convincing the reader to do something, preferably to click on your pin and/or link that you’ve placed in your description. If the original image is not yours, do not change the link. It’s poor pin etiquette and your site will lose some credibility in the eyes of the viewer. I prefer to add my link at the end of my description as long as it’s relevant to the pin. For example, if I own a site that sells funny t-shirts, and I find someone else’s pin of a funny t-shirt, I could repin the image with a caption that says, “Love this! See more t-shirts like this at: link to my website.” Boom. It’s short, sweet, relevant, and has a call to action with your link.

Lastly, we need to make the pin searchable. Again, short keyword descriptions are the most effective if you actually want people to read them. But before I place my link at the end, I input a few hashtags. Much like the symbols, it’s easy to go overboard with these. I limit myself to 1-3 hashtags per caption and found this to be a relatively safe number. Hashtags are clickable in Pinterest descriptions which makes them even more effective. So here’s how my descriptions typically look:

Bold symbol to attract the eye > Short, relevant description with a call to action > 1-3 relevant hashtags > relevant website link

You see a lot of “relevant” in there? That’s because without relevancy, none of this works or makes any sense to do. Now, I love humor. In fact, I love it so much that I’ve made 4 special community boards for it: Funny eCards, Funny Texts, Memes & Rage Comics, and Anything Goes Humor. Not only that, but I even went the extra mile and made a Facebook fan page and a Google+ page dedicated to Pinterest humor. Nice! So how do I get people to “Like” my Facebook fan page? In exactly the same way I taught you. Check it out:

I posted 6 eCards to my board the other night and look what happened. The green circles in the graph represent those who left my original description the same, and the red circles represent those who changed my description:

Yikes! Less than 5 minutes to pin these eCards, and less than 24 hours later, here’s what we’ve gained: 32 new links to my fan page with unchanged descriptions pinned across several boards to hundreds of new followers. My Facebook fan page is only a few weeks old and has over 160 likes, all generated from using this strategy. Not bad! Pinterest content spreads like wildfire. Don’t miss out!

The New SEO Is Content Marketing #secrets of google plus

The New SEO Is Content Marketing

SEO isn’t the same as what it used to be. These days you actually have to build a good website, write high quality content that solves peoples’ problems, build thousands of links, and get thousands of social shares.

But there is one big issue, it’s hard to scale all of this. Building thousands of high quality links manually is really expensive and even if you have the money, it will take months if not years to build those links. And if you don’t have anything worth sharing on the social web, you won’t get social shares unless you buy them from spammy accounts.

So how do you build thousands of links naturally and get thousands of social shares? Through content marketing.

Content marketing is the cheapest and most effective way to do SEO these days. Not only does writing highly quality content produce links at a quicker pace than building them manually, but it’s also cheaper. Plus your content will naturally get shared on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus and Pinterest.

OH I VERY IMPORTANT MILESTONE BEFORE I GET IN DEEPER I AM Now a Published Author and am doing a 10 book series called Social Media Rocket fuel. It will tell book by book how I managed to go from 0 9 months ago in online income 10 15-17000.

Each book/network is critical. I put heart and soul and every method I know in so you all can do the same or better the first is on Google plus which out none of this would be possible. Be sure to check it out you can't find this info online :)CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME AND THE BOOK

The big difference between content marketing and paid SEO

Content marketing doesn’t get affected by algorithm updates, while paid SEO does. Search engines can tell when you provide value, and in the long run that’s the kind of stuff that they want to make sure that stays high in the rankings.
So ins
tead of investing in short term solutions that may increase your overall rankings and traffic, invest in the long term solution of content marketing.

Conclusion

Now that you know content marketing is the new SEO, spending money on it doesn’t guarantee results. Over the last few years I’ve tested a lot of different types of content and certain types produce better results than others.
  • Detailed content – short blog posts tend to get less links than detailed content that is thorough. Don’t try to replicate what Huffington post does by producing hundreds of new pieces of content each day… focus on quality.
  • Social profiles –Make sure you build up your Twitter and Facebook profiles. You’ll need them to spread your content.
  • Collect emails – make sure you have email opt-in forms in your sidebar and potentially leverage popups to collect even more emails. If you have a solid email list you can always email them every time you publish a new blog post or content piece. This is an easy way to kick start the virality process.
  • Be consistent – if you can’t publish content on a regular basis, no matter how good your content is, it will be tough to get a good ROI out of your content marketing. Make sure you publish content on a regular basis.
  • Headlines matter – no matter how good your content is, if you can’t write attractive headlines, no one will read your content. Learn how to write good headlines.
